GOV. UDUAGHAN TASKS JUDICIARY ON QUICK DISPENSATION OF JUSTICE
Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has urged the judiciary to remain steadfast in the quick dispensation of justice so as to guarantee law and order.
Governor Uduaghan who gave this charge at the weekend when he received the State Chief Judge, Justice Abiodun Smith and a retinue of judges on a visit at the Government House, Annex Warri, following the opening of the new legal year of the state judiciary, as this will guarantee law and order.
Dr. Uduaghan congratulated the state judiciary on the new legal year and commended them for the quick dispensation of kidnapping cases and tax defaulters, saying that “it has helped to put in check those who believe that they can get away with criminal activities in the society.”.

The State Chief Judge, Justice Abiodun Smith commended Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for the infrastructural strides in the state, which has impacted positively on all the sectors of the state including the judiciary especially the provision of new court buildings.
He assured the governor of the support of the judiciary in his “Delta Beyond Oil” initiative.
Meanwhile. Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has urged couples who desire longetivity in their marriage to always give thanks to God for his blessings and benevolence.
Governor Uduaghan made this assertion at the weekend at the First Baptist Church, Sapele during a thanksgiving service organized by the chairman of state Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Mr Oritsuwa Kpogho on his wedding silver jubilee and, the fiftieth birthday of his wife, Esima.
The governor said giving thanks to God would enable couples surmount marital challenges and ensure proper upbringing of their children.

The officiating minister, Reverend John Ofomukoro in his sermon commended the couple for appreciating the benevolence of God upon them.
Mr kpogho and his wife, accompanied by Governor Uduaghan and other dignitaries later danced to the altar for thanksgiving blessing.
