The Delta State Commissioner for Works, Hon Funkekeme Solomon, has assured that the Effurun/Sapele and Asaba flyover will be completed by December this year as promised.
Hon Funkekeme stated this during an inspection of the on-going projects in Warri, saying that with the rate of work going on at the site, the project will be handed over by the December this year.
The Commissioner said he was impressed with the speed and quality of work done so far, and commended the contractor handling the project for working assiduously to ensure that the project is completed at the due date.
Similarly, Hon. Funkekeme Solomon reiterated the commitment of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan led administration to the rural urban integration geared towards boosting the economy of the State.
He stated this while inspecting the Umunede/Mbiri road project in Ika North East Local Government Area, saying that the road will enhance the economic activities of the people as well as the State Government’s Farm Settlement located at Mbiri.
The Commissioner stated that with the road other communities will be accessed easily.
